My project is gonna be a performance / installation to present my friend's fashion design collection. So I'm thinking to use computer visions to create interactive animations, meanwhile combining pre-filmed footages and live-streamed footages to project on a half-transparent fabric on the stage, and models would give a bit theatrical performance interacting with the visuals.
I hope the participant/audience would see a multi-dimensions fashion film/fashion presentation. The photographs and images are not just stuck on a flat screen, but morphing in a choreographed space.
The input would be the movement of the models, maybe also the pixel color data of the garment.
The output would be generated animations.
I'm using computer visions, with a ps3 eye camera, and a camcorder (I'm looking for the way to connect it with OF now). Addons and algorithms are to be confirmed...
1. Code the live-stream video
2. Design and set up of the projection fabrics on the stage
3. Time is tight. There're 6 pieces (being produced atm as well), and obviously testing with the models with the completed garment pieces on it is very important.
Any suggestion about projection on the stage, or about live-streamed video coding would be great : )
What's your project about? Is it a game, installation, instrument, performance? What does it do? How do you imagine it setup and where? Feel free to include any images, hand-written sketches, youtube videos or anything you think is needed to make it clearer to your peers.
What do you hope the experience will be for the participant? What do you hope they think/feel?
What is the input to your system?
What is the output of your system?
What technologies are you using? What hardware, what software addons, what algorithms?
What are some challenges you might face?
Specific help: anything specific you'd like feedback or help with?

Initial rough performance plan
Or if there's not enough time for such a big performance plan, an alternative plan would be using the fabrics, basically same strategy, but presented as a film in the end.

Form of the film might be referenced from the below example, so like not so cinematic, more like a live runway performing.
